 Start Me Up: The New Playbook for Business Planning

One Gun. One killer idea. Now what?

The days of taking six months to write a long (and, admit it, mind-numbing) business plan are gone. There's a new playbook for planning ventures: one that maximizes speed, flexibility, and results. This hands-on Hired Guns Academy class stresses a new way of thinking: build a persuasive business presentation rather than an uninspired, time-sucking business plan.

This course is hand-crafted for the entrepreneurial Gun with a new business idea -- from a new agency to a kick-ass technology product -- and the impetus to bring it to life. And you'll be in a curated setting with Hired Guns who, just like you, are courageously looking to launch their own companies too.

"Start Me Up" will strike just the right balance between planning and action, with an emphasis on creating your own rock-star quality presentation, bootstrapping, and examining key requirements critical to launching your exciting new venture.

Your Instructor: The Start Me Up Entrepreneur Series is taught by Hired Gun Insider David Ronick, Founder and CEO of UpStart Advisors, Inc. David learned to craft persuasive arguments as an English major at Brown University, developed consulting skills at A.T. Kearney, and got hooked on entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. His forthcoming book, StartMeUp: The New Playbook for Business Planning, is due out later this year. David has bootstrapped dozens of startups, raised capital from friends and family, and scored funding from angels to VCs. He knows his stuff, and after a few hours with him, so will you.
